Driveway And Concrete Cleaning In Huntington Beach, CA
A driveway is the first thing anyone sees and it is usually the dirtiest surface on the property. Oil drips, rust runs off the sprinklers, tire marks bake in, and the whole slab goes grey a shade at a time so slowly that nobody notices until half of it gets cleaned.
Surface Cleaner, Not A Wand
A handheld wand leaves zebra stripes on concrete. Every pass overlaps a little differently and the marks show for years. We run a rotary surface cleaner, which holds an even distance across the whole slab and pulls a consistent line from edge to edge. Edges, expansion joints and anything the machine cannot reach get detailed by hand afterward.
Oil, Rust And Organic Staining
Three different problems, three different treatments. Oil needs a degreaser and dwell time before anything else happens. Irrigation rust needs an acid based rust remover, not more pressure. Organic staining and the green film that builds in shaded strips is a soft wash problem. Pretreating in the right order is the difference between a clean slab and a slab with ghost marks left on it.
Sidewalks, Walkways And Curbs
The driveway rarely looks right on its own. Public sidewalk, entry walkway and the curb line usually get done at the same time so the whole approach matches instead of leaving a clean rectangle inside a grey frame.
Salt, Sand And Coastal Concrete
Close to the water, blown sand and salt work into the surface of the concrete and hold grime in the pores. That is why coastal driveways go dull faster than inland ones and why a rinse with a hose never seems to change anything.
Common Questions
Will every stain come out?
Most do. Fresh oil and organic staining clear completely. Old oil that has soaked deep into the pores can lighten a lot without disappearing entirely, and we will tell you that at the quote instead of after.
Can pressure washing damage concrete?
It can if the surface is already spalling or the pressure is wrong for the age of the slab. We set pressure to the condition of the concrete and use a surface cleaner rather than a concentrated wand.
Do you clean pavers and brick driveways too?
Yes. Pavers and brick get a lower pressure approach so the joint sand is not blown out.
